The 3D603 ended up being a good bag for a few things, but I missed the capacity of my 14L Motocentric bag, which I mainly used for my lunch, water bottle and snacks that I bring to work, and sometimes my workout shoes (which are Vibram FiveFingers because I'm that effing weirdo at the gym). Fortunately, the 3D603 comes with a little zipper pouch that covers the phone window, which can otherwise reflect glare in direct sunlight.

That being said, this phone pocket is pretty much useless since you have to look straight down to see it. The 3D603 has a see-through phone pocket, which fits my 5' Nexus 5 phone without the case quite well, and the touchscreen works through the window. The 3D603 has a listed capacity of 4L, whereas the nearly-identical-in-pictures DP Pocket Tank Bag is listed at 5L for some reason. This is probably why the 3D603 appears to be sold as a Ducati Performance accessory, which gets you a Ducati badge on the back of it instead of a Givi badge for your extra $70. The Givi 3D603 fit the bill nicely with its easy-to-install mounting system, and didn't get in the way of anything physically or visually. It came with straps, but I lost those in a recent move and didn't want to eff around with straps rubbing on my tank anyway.

I had a magnetic Motocentric 14L tankbag that I used with my previous Suzuki GS550 that I was pretty happy with, but unable to use on my 696 due to the plastic tank. I purchased the Givi 3D603 tanklock bag shortly after I got my Monster 696.
